1. Nature of the service

seg-audit is a decision-support tool that produces financial and control reports from your system's data. The reports are not a formal audit opinion and are no substitute for a licensed statutory auditor unless a named responsible auditor signs off on them. Every report is marked “draft” until a human approves it.

2. Data accuracy

Every figure in a report is derived from your system's data or is printed as “not available”. There are no fabricated numbers (the Zero-Hallucination rule). The accuracy of the output depends on the accuracy and completeness of your source data.

3. AI review of reports

If your organisation agrees to this clause, an MFT Intelligence AI agent reviews the findings of each report before it reaches the human reviewer, and may request additional data from your accounting system to corroborate a specific finding. The data needed for this is sent to an AI model provider, which may be a third party, and a record of each review is kept for seven years for audit purposes. The agent’s output is a written opinion: it does not change any figure in the report, it writes nothing to your system, and the report remains a draft that is only delivered once a human reviewer approves it. Consent is optional: without it, reports are produced as they are today, with no AI review, and it can be withdrawn at any time from your organisation settings.

4. Acceptable use

You undertake that you are authorised to access the data of the entity you connect, and that you will not misuse the service or attempt to circumvent its technical or security limits.

5. Subscription and payment

A limited free plan and paid plans are available (see the pricing page). An annual plan can be refunded for its remaining full months; a monthly plan is cancelled, not refunded. The details, and how to ask, are in the refund policy.

6. Limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is”. We accept no liability for decisions taken on the basis of the reports without professional review. Our maximum liability is limited to the value of your subscription.
